Blockchain security firm PeckShield has reported that nearly $100 million in stolen digital assets from March hacks has been recovered. In total, there were over 30 hacking incidents in March, resulting in $187 million in lost funds. Despite the significant losses, 52.8% of the hacked funds were successfully returned. PeckShield specifically highlighted the top five incidents, with the Munchables hack being the most severe in terms of losses. However, the hacker ultimately returned the funds without demanding a ransom. Another notable incident was the Prisma Finance hack, where around $11 million was stolen. However, the hacker claimed it was a “white hat rescue,” and discussions are currently ongoing regarding a potential recovery. Curio, NFPrompt, and WooFi were also targeted, resulting in losses of $40 million, $10 million, and $8.5 million, respectively.
