Animoca’s Mocaverse Joins Forces with KuCoin to Enhance Cross-Platform Identity Integration

Mocaverse, the membership network and metaverse project by Animoca Brands, has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin and Web3 wallet Halo Wallet to enhance user navigation in various sectors, including crypto trading, DeFi, gaming, and SocialFi. The collaboration aims to redefine on-chain identity and promote growth in the Web3 space by combining Mocaverse’s nonfungible token (NFT) digital identity, Moca ID, with KuCoin’s user accounts and Halo’s Genesis membership pass. Currently, these sub-ecosystems operate independently, but the partnership seeks to establish cross-platform identity links to address this issue. The initiative aims to simplify the user experience, encourage collaboration and integration, and expand the ecosystem’s shared value. The integration is expected to amplify network effects and drive innovation and growth in community-owned networks, particularly in SocialFi, DeFi, GameFi, education, and finance. KuCoin anticipates that this collaboration will serve as an industry case study for greater cross-platform value across different Web3 ecosystems and asset types.
