Tegan Kline, co-founder of Edge & Node, expressed that there are still numerous possibilities within the blockchain space and the community is well aware of them. In a recent interview with Cointelegraph, Kline discussed the impact of the crypto winter and provided recommendations for community members to concentrate on during market downturns. According to Kline, it is crucial for the community to uphold its fundamental principles and remain determined to deliver practical solutions. She stated that the crypto winter presents an opportunity for builders, as the reduced market noise creates what she referred to as a “builder’s paradise.” Kline emphasized that there are still many developments that need to be made in the space, including layer 2 solutions, multichain aggregation, bridge technology, custody solutions, and decentralized autonomous organizations. She also mentioned the potential impact of blockchain on social media, stating that the emergence of Web3 social networks will be a game changer. Additionally, Kline believes that decentralized exchanges will eventually surpass centralized exchanges in terms of trading volume. When asked about the mindset community members should maintain during the crypto winter, Kline encouraged them to continue building, as some of the most successful companies and technologies have emerged from recessions. She emphasized the importance of focusing on self-custody, decentralization, and understanding counterparty risk. Furthermore, Kline predicted that the crypto winter will give rise to more resilient decentralized technologies within the blockchain ecosystem.
